Meredith Hurst

Veterinary Nurse

Professional Interests

My areas of interest as a veterinary nurse include administration duties, diagnostic and assisting for complex surgeries.

Why I became a veterinary nurse

I became a veterinary nurse because I love animals and advocate for animals to have a voice.

Favourite animals

I am a cats and dogs person.

My animals

My family includes Kira, a Border Collie Cross and Puss the Domestic Shorthair cat. Puss was mostly feral when she came to us, but is now the smoochiest cat I have ever met and has struck up a remarkable friendship with our toddler.

Outdoorsy days, camping, reading, knitting and cross stitch.

What do you like about working at Hobart Community Veterinary Hospital
